Royal College Colombo was founded in the year 1835 by Messer's Harward, Hartely, Marsh & Boake and it continues to strive today as one of Sri Lanka's premier institutions for primary and secondary education.

Over the years, Royal College has produced many outstanding individuals in the professional world and in all walks of human endeavor in Sri Lanka and around the globe, including president and prime ministers of Sri Lanka |
On 17th December 1999, three committed Old Royalists residing in United Arab Emirates formed the ORUAE, with the intention of giving something back to our 'Alma Mater'. The inaugural ceremony was held at 'Le Meridian' hotel Dubai. |

Today with more than 120 members, our group organizes a range of fun filled activities that brings together Old Royalists and their families, which also includes participation by many other school alumni.
