A long time wish of the Old Royalists in UAE came to a reality; when Old Royalists in the UAE with their families had a lovely BBQ evening at one of Dubai’s fascinating sea side Parks.

The highlight of the event was Royalists & their families did not have to pay a cent while enjoying the evening at the park with a sumptuous BBQ buffet planned at the end. The organizing committee decided to spend the cost from our coffers in order to attract as many Old Royalists residing in UAE & their families possible.

To make all participants comfortable, renting out of two large sea side chalets & re-imbursement of park entry fee was planned. Also, guests were invited for a nominal fee, and a number of Non Royalist well wishers, who had helped us in numerous ways too were invited to this occasion.

There were about 54 adults and many of their children who enjoyed the fun at the park. Some of the Royalists, who were fortunate to come early to the park, had a dip in the sea before meeting the rest at the chalets. Except that there was a delay in serving the BBQ buffet dinner contracted to an outside caterer, everything went off well as planned. After enjoying a sumptuous BBQ dinner, the event was wrapped up around 11 p.m. Hat’s OFF To Project chairman Brian Perera for his untiring efforts in getting the thing going.
