For the first time, the RCUAE Committee met with the members (and their families) living in emirate of Abu Dhabi ob 18th October 2002. The meeting was arranged by the two coordinators for Abu Dhabi - Ifthi Sherif and Shiraz Sideek. Most of the committee members opted to bring their families too - making the event a family outing.

The days program started off with a buffet lunch which was well supported by a magician in attendance. The ladies and kids thoroughly enjoyed - not forgetting the guys as well. Subsequently, the families were allowed to spend some time sightseeing Abu Dhabi whilst the guys sat around for some serious business.
President Rameez welcomed all the members (as well as the committment from the committee to travel upto Abu Dhabi). Secretary Roshan updated the activities at hand and the proposed desert outing plus the AGM plans. As cordinator for the Abu Dhabi members, Shiraz gave a briefing on the success in getting around the old boys enlisted to the RCUAE. He also emphasised the need to have some further activities in Abu Dhabi. After a fruitful round of talks, Ifthi Sherif proposed the vote of thanks.
