The committee organized ten-pin bowling events during the last two years despite facing difficulties in finding a suitable venue due to existing bookings. As appropriate; the events were held on Friday mornings at the ‘thunder bowl’ & Deira City centre bowling alleys respectively for the 2 years. Participants were offered free games with the cost borne by ORUAE. Over 50 Royalists & their family members had a great time at this fun-filled games. To give the game a more competitive touch, in 2007 the teams were divided according to their college houses Hartley, Harward, Marsh, Boake & Reed.
The untiring efforts of committee members, Trevor, Samantha & Madhava in scouting for locations & organizing the events are worth mentioning here and we are sure they deserve a big cheer from all of us!
